Trip Experience Guide
A family-friendly sailing trip built around short hops and warm water. Mornings are for wildlife, afternoons for swimming, and nobody has to be anywhere by a fixed hour.
Day 1
Labuan Bajo – Boarding
Land in Labuan Bajo and step straight onto your boat. The crew settles you in, lunch is served as you pull away from the harbour, and the first afternoon is spent easing into island time with a swim off the back deck.
Day 2
Komodo Island – Dragon Tracking
An early start for the cooler hours, when the dragons are most active. A ranger walks you through the dry forest and explains what you are actually looking at. Back aboard by midday, then a reef stop where the fish come to you.
Day 3
Pink Beach & Manta Point
Morning on a beach the colour of rose quartz, coloured by crushed red coral. Later, the boat anchors where mantas gather to feed, and you slip in beside creatures with a five-metre wingspan.
Day 4
Padar Island – Sunrise Ridge
The climb up Padar takes about forty minutes and gives you the view every visitor to Flores comes for: three curved bays, three different-coloured sands, all in one frame. The rest of the day is deliberately empty.
Day 5
Kanawa & Return
A final snorkel over shallow coral at Kanawa, breakfast on deck, then a slow cruise back to Labuan Bajo in time for your onward flight.
Boats are chartered privately, so the route bends around your family rather than a schedule. Tell us how old the children are and we will shape the days to suit them.
