Manila, Cebu and Boracay
Six nights across three islands, with two days of island hopping, lunch on the boat both times, and the last two nights on the best stretch of sand in the country.
Nights one and two
Manila and Tagaytay
A half day inside the walls of Intramuros covers Fort Santiago, San Agustin church and Casa Manila, with a calesa ride through the old streets. The next morning climbs to Tagaytay for the view down onto Taal, a volcano sitting in a lake inside another volcano, with the bamboo organ at Las Pinas on the way back.
Nights three and four
Cebu and Mactan
The city tour runs through Magellan’s Cross, the Basilica del Santo Nino, Fort San Pedro and the Taoist temple. The following day is on the water: Nalusuan, the Hilutungan marine sanctuary and Caohagan, with snorkel sets and lunch on board.
Nights five and six
Boracay
White Beach runs four kilometres and faces west, which is why everyone is on it at six in the evening. One day is free and the other is another boat: Puka Beach, Crocodile Island and Crystal Cove, again with lunch and snorkelling included.
Two boat days in one week is not too many. It is the whole reason to come here.
Day by day
Met at the airport, then a half day tour of Intramuros with the calesa ride.
People’s Park in the Sky, Picnic Grove and the bamboo organ, with the Taal crater in view most of the morning.
The morning flight south, then Magellan’s Cross, the Basilica, Fort San Pedro and the Taoist temple.
Nalusuan, the Hilutungan sanctuary and Caohagan by boat, with lunch on board and snorkel sets provided.
The flight to Caticlan and the short ferry across. Free and easy from there, which on Boracay means the beach.
Puka Beach, Crocodile Island and Crystal Cove with lunch on the boat and time in the water at each.
The ferry back to Caticlan and the flight out. Allow time, the crossing depends on the sea.
